The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has distanced itself from comments made by its Bono Regional Chairman, Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC, following a media appearance in which he criticised Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams.
In a statement released by the party’s General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong, the NPP described Abronye’s remarks as “unfortunate and unprovoked,” and emphasised that they do not reflect the values or official position of the party.
