In a recent interview, “Aduu Sumo Akwadu” hitmaker Lucky Mensah revealed that strategic planning, hard work, and wise investments have set him apart from other entertainers who now complain about hunger due to a lack of shows and income.

According to Lucky Mensah, many entertainers failed to prepare for the future and relied solely on fleeting fame and temporary gigs.

He shared that the secret to his current comfort lies in his deliberate choice to invest his earnings at the height of his career into long-term ventures.

Today, he lives a very decent life, thanks to his investments in multiple businesses.

These include a hotel, a residential apartment complex for rent, and a thriving transport business. He also runs a bakery, owns an events center, and operates the Lucky Mensah Live Band and a recording studio.

In addition, he runs the LM Soccer Academy, which mentors talented boys aged 10 to 17 across Ghana.

Lucky Mensah added that one of the defining moments of his life was when he traveled to the United Kingdom for a show and decided to stay for an extra two years to work. That decision, though tough, proved to be the financial breakthrough he needed.

“I worked hard in the UK, saved money, and came back home to begin my building project. That was a turning point,” he shared.

He further mentioned that the contribution and belief of his wife can never be left out of his success story.

Lucky Mensah expressed deep gratitude to her for believing in his vision when things were rough. He recalled how she courageously followed him to live in an uncompleted building they had started in an undeveloped area—now famously known as “Lucky Mensah.”

According to him, if his wife hadn’t supported that decision and sacrificed her comfort, the dream might never have materialized.
