Berekum Chelsea winger Jonah Attuquaye has taken a significant step toward joining Accra Hearts of Oak after successfully completing his medical examination, according to report.
The dynamic winger, known for his pace and creativity on the flanks, has been on Hearts of Oak’s radar as the club looks to bolster its squad ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
While the medicals have been cleared, sources close to the deal indicate that negotiations between the Phobians are at the final stage.
Both parties are reportedly ironing out final contractual details, including salary structure and duration of the deal. Until the final documents are exchanged and officially signed, the day of Attuquaye’s unveiling remains unknown.
The former Legon Cities winger will add much-needed width and attacking flair to the Accra-based side, who are aiming to bounce back stronger after a poor 2024/25 campaign.
