MultiChoice Ghana has announced a reduction in the prices of its packages, effective June 16, 2025.
According to the company, this move is in response to the appreciation of the cedi and the positive performance of the economy.
In a statement signed by the Managing Director, Alex Okyere, on June 17, 2025, the company said, “We are happy the economy is rebounding, and We Got You! Starting from Monday, June 16, 2025, to July 31, 2025, no matter what package you subscribe to (DStv/GOTv), we will upgrade you instantly to the next higher package.”
The company noted that consumers will enjoy this upgrade offer throughout the promotion period.
“For instance, if you pay for the DStv Compact package at GH¢380, we will upgrade you to the Compact Plus package, which costs GH¢570, saving you GH¢190,” the statement explained.
Additionally, MultiChoice has slashed the price of its DStv decoder from GH¢169 to GH¢89, a savings of GH¢80, ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup.
The company emphasised that the price reduction is a demonstration of its commitment to good corporate citizenship and support for customers during the ongoing economic recovery.
