Asante Kotoko set to part ways with midfielder Justice Blay – Report

Kumasi-based giants Asante Kotoko are set to part ways with experienced midfielder Justice Blay in the coming days, following a mutual agreement to terminate his contract.

The decision, according to close sources within the club, has been reached amicably between the player and the management. Although the club is yet to issue an official statement, an announcement is expected imminently as both parties finalize the necessary paperwork.

Justice Blay, who rejoined the Porcupine Warriors in 2021 after an impressive loan stint from Medeama SC, has been a key figure in the midfield, known for his tough tackling, composure on the ball, and leadership on the pitch.

He is reportedly set for a move to an unnamed Algerian side, which has resulted in his contract termination.

Blay’s impending departure marks the latest development in what is expected to be a busy off-season for Kotoko as they look to rebuild their squad ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League campaign.
