Zagazaa Empire Records to support young GH musicians

The music industry has shifted dramatically, with streaming platforms and social media now playing a major role in an artiste’s success.

This change has led some to question the relevance of traditional record labels, sparking debate about their potential demise.

However, the CEO of Zagazaa Empire Record, Kwame King believes that record labels still have a vital role to play in the music industry, offering valuable expertise, resources, and support to artistes.

It is in this light that Zagazaa Empire Record set out to support young Ghanaian artistes and push them on the global stage.

At the moment, the label manages five artistes. They Are Veenaya, Papa Yawson, Israel, City-god, and Messiah Pearls.

The label, which started with a focus on gospel artistes, is now set to diversify into other genres, aiming to broaden its reach and impact.

In an interview with Graphic Showbiz on Monday, June 9, Kwame King mentioned that the label is dedicated to finding, developing, and promoting new and established artistes.

He added that what sets Zagazaa Empire apart is its holistic approach, focusing not only on the music but also on nurturing the artistes’ personal and artistic development.

“Every artiste signed under the Zagazaa Empire becomes part of a creative network that thrives on innovation, authenticity, and cultural fusion.

“What makes Zagazaa Empire Records exceptional is its dedicated team of industry veterans, artist managers, digital marketers, and creative professionals.

“Together, they work hand in hand with each artiste to bring their unique vision to life providing strategic guidance, marketing expertise, world-class production, and long-term career planning”, he said.
