A 21-year-old woman who was shot and killed by her boyfriend

A peaceful town has been shaken by a heartbreaking incident involving a young woman known as Yaa Baby, who was fatally shot by her boyfriend, Kobby Gh, a popular figure on social media. What started as a routine visit to the boyfriend’s hometown tragically ended with the loss of a promising life, sending shockwaves through the community and sparking widespread sorrow.

According to a close friend of Yaa Baby who spoke exclusively to Sit Louis TV, the young woman had only recently moved in with Kobby Gh, just three days prior to the devastating event. The friend recalled receiving a video message from Yaa Baby while they were traveling to Mampong, in which she appeared safe and unharmed. “At that moment, I believed everything was fine,” the friend shared.

However, the calm was short-lived. The friend explained that after seeing a WhatsApp story featuring both Yaa Baby and Kobby Gh attending the funeral of the late Mamponhene, there seemed to be no indication of trouble. But around 2:00 PM on that day, a distressing call changed everything.

“A man who said he was a police inspector from Yeji called me and asked if I knew a girl called Yaa Baby,” the friend recounted. “When I said yes, he informed me that Kobby had accidentally shot her.”
