Asante Kotoko are set to embark on a pre-season training tour in South Africa ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
The playing body, technical staff, and other senior members of the team will embark on the journey. The club’s technical team, led by head coach Abdul Karim Zito, is expected to use the South African trip to assess new signings, fine-tune tactics, and build team chemistry.
Ghanasportspage.com can confirmed that, the team will depart from Ghana on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025, and spend two weeks in the southernmost country.
The training camp is expected to feature a series of friendly matches with some South African clubs, as Kotoko aims to put together a strong unit capable of challenging both domestically and in continental competitions.
The two-time African Champions are currently in Accra for preparation ahead of the MTN FA Cup final against Golden Kick FC on Sunday, 15th June, 2025 at the University sports stadium.
