Ghanaian Tiktoker and Blogger Shoots and Kills Girlfriend, Victim Family Cry Out

The family home of GH Kobby’s late girlfriend has been plunged into mourning following her tragic death. The Ghanaian blogger’s partner, known as Philippa, also called Yaa Baby or Yaa Yaa, passed away under heartbreaking circumstances.

Emotional videos circulating on social media show her grieving relatives in deep sorrow, wailing after receiving the devastating news.

Among those captured reacting to the tragedy were her grandparents and a woman identified as Richlove, who claimed to be Philippa’s sister. Richlove shared her pain in the video, explaining how the family learned of Philippa’s death and alleging that she had been with Kobby for a week prior to the incident.

In the footage, Philippa’s grandmother accused GH Kobby of intentionally shooting her as part of a money ritual, although no evidence was provided to support the claim.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, June 10, 2025—a day that turned tragic for GH Kobby, some of his friends, and Philippa. Reports suggest that the group had travelled to a local community in Yeji after attending the funeral rites of the late Mamponghene, Daasebre Osei Bonsu II. It was there that GH Kobby allegedly discharged a firearm, accidentally shooting Philippa in the left arm after retrieving a gun from his luxury vehicle to fire warning shots.

He is said to have rushed her to St. Martin’s Hospital, where she sadly passed away shortly after arrival.
