Nii Tackie Teiko Tsuru II is the current Ga Mantse
The Court of Appeal in Kumasi has ruled that Nii Tackie Adama Latse II be added to the records of the National House of Chiefs as Ga Mantse.
The Court of Appeal made the ruling in the hearing of an application which challenged the ruling of the High Court in Kumasi, Nii Tackie Adama Latse II, be reinstated to the records of the House of Chiefs.
The decision of the High Court was challenged in the Court of Appeal in 2021, and an injunction was granted to prevent Nii Adama Latse II from being added to the records by the National House of Chiefs and another party.

The court also ordered the National House of Chiefs to re-enter Boni King Tackie Adama Latse II’s name in the register within 14 days.
The House of Chiefs and the other plaintiff were fined with costs of GH₵30,000 and GH₵20,000 respectively.
Speaking to the media after the ruling, the lawyer of Nii Latse II said, “The case arose from the expunging of Nii Tackie Adama Latse II from the National Register of Chiefs by the National House of Chiefs. And we took this matter to the High Court as far back as 2021. The High Court gave judgment in our favour and ordered the National House of Chiefs to reinstate me as the Ga Mantse.
“Then the National Security Chiefs and the interested party that happens to be (sic), they appealed and successfully got the stay of execution since 2021,” he said.
