The founder of Heaven’s Gate Ministries, Nicholas Osei—popularly known as Prophet Kumchacha—has thrown his support behind former President John Mahama’s proposed GH¢1 fuel levy, while surprisingly calling for an even higher rate.
In a video shared on TikTok, the outspoken preacher argued that the GH¢1 per litre levy was insufficient, suggesting that Mahama could have proposed GH¢2 instead to better tackle Ghana’s ongoing energy crisis.
