A young man who identified himself only as Nana Kofi, a resident of Dormaa, is pleading for urgent help, revealing that he is being tormented after engaging in a money ritual, popularly known as Sakawa.

He called into a program on Kumasi-based Promise TV, and shared his ordeal. He explained that he resorted to money rituals out of desperation after his father abandoned him, making life extremely difficult.

“My father did not take care of me after he broke up with my mother. Out of frustration, I was influenced by friends and followed them to seek quick money through rituals. I was successful and now have money, but the sad fact is that I cannot spend more than GH₵30 a day,” he said.

Nana Kofi, who claims to own seven houses and other properties, disclosed that he is required to perform a ritual every time he wants to give someone money.

When asked what the ritual entails, he shockingly revealed, “I have to eat human feces and drink urine from a newborn baby.”

When the host probed further and asked how he obtains the urine, Nana Kofi said it is sold, although he refused to reveal where it can be found.

He also made another disturbing revelation—that he has only one year left to live.

“I have only one year to live in this world. The chicken could only eat three pieces of corn,” he said cryptically.

Nana Kofi ended by pleading with the host to help save his life, emphasizing that time is quickly running out.
