GHANAIAN AFROBEATS star, King Promise, has once again expressed his profound gratitude to his fans following his Telecel Ghana Awards (TGMA) Artiste of the Year win.
King Promise expressed gratitude to his fans during the ‘A nite with King Promise’ event on Friday, June 6, 2025, organised by Charterhouse, organisers of the annual Telecel Ghana Awards, to celebrate his recent win at the 26th edition of the awards event.
King Promise, on the night performed songs such as ‘Continental’, ‘Terminator’, ‘Abena Oh Yea’, ‘CCTV’ among some of his hit singles.
Addressing the personalities who gathered at the auditorium to celebrate his success, King Promise disclosed that, since his breakthrough seven years ago, they have supported him over the period without any hesitation.
“I am very grateful to you all for your support. Making music is not just for money, but it is the joy and fulfillment I get to witness when I see people jamming to it. I don’t take you guys for granted at all,” he said.
King Promise further expressed gratitude to his music group, Legacy Life Entertainment, for their support, saying, “You people have supported me from the beginning to now, and you’re still doing great work to put mother Ghana on the map. Big ups to you all.”
King Promise was crowned Artiste of the Year at the 2025 Telecel Ghana Awards, beating out the likes of Stonebwoy, Black Sherif, King Paluta, Joe Mettle, Team Eternity, and Kweku Smoke.
From headlining major concerts worldwide to releasing his critically acclaimed ‘True to Self’ album, which also won Album/EP of the Year, King Promise has demonstrated consistency, growth, and a deep connection with his fans both at home and abroad.
Taking to the stage to accept the award, a visibly emotional King Promise expressed gratitude to his supporters and reflected on his journey. “This is for everyone who believed,” he said, paying homage to his roots and the dream that launched his career.
He also swept home additional awards, including Best Afropop Song of the Year (Paris), and Afrobeats/Afropop Artiste of the Year.
