Asante Kotoko have completed their first signing for next season after securing the services of 20-year-old midfielder Hubert Gyau from Berekum Chelsea.
According to journalist Shaban Mohammed, the deal was finalized after Gyau successfully passed his medical earlier this week.
The promising young talent has put pen to paper on a four-year contract that will keep him at the Kumasi-based club until June 2029.
This acquisition marks a significant step in Kotoko’s squad rebuilding efforts as they prepare for the upcoming 2025/26 season. The midfield addition is expected to inject youthful energy and creativity into the Porcupine Warriors’ setup.
