The winners with their award

The Kosmos Innovation Center (KIC), in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, has successfully hosted the final pitch event of the 2025 AgriTech Challenge Pro, celebrating a remarkable showcase of innovation and entrepreneurial excellence aimed at transforming Ghana’s agricultural sector.

Held from 22nd to 23rd May 2025 at the KNUST Business School in Kumasi, the event featured cutting-edge agritech and food innovation solutions designed to tackle key challenges in the sector. The initiative also demonstrated strong potential to create employment opportunities for young people across the country.

Forty-three teams presented their business pitch decks to a panel of judges – referred to as the Ideation Team – and received constructive feedback.

The participants delivered compelling presentations, demonstrating both the viability and impact potential of their business ideas.

From tech-driven tools to sustainable farming practices, the pitches highlighted the creativity and determination of Ghana’s emerging entrepreneurs.

The winning teams will receive seed funding, mentorship, and access to KIC’s extensive network of partners as they progress into the KIC Business Incubation Programme.

These resources are expected to help them further develop, implement, and scale their innovations.

“This year’s AgriTech Challenge Pro has once again showcased the brilliance and resilience of Ghana’s youth. The innovative solutions presented today reaffirm the transformative power of agriculture and technology in driving economic growth and sustainability,” said Benjamin Gyan-Kesse, Executive Director of Kosmos Innovation Center.
