When I Was Dating My Wife, I Told Her I Didn’t Have Enough Money But She Agreed To Marry Me” Daniel Etim EEffiong

Nollywood actor Daniel Etim Effiong, in an interview with Chude Jideonwo, has made it known in clear terms how he met his wife on a movie set when the two of them came back to Nigeria to work together on a movie production and how he told her not to see him as someone who has a lot of money saved somewhere.

In a video that was shared on the official YouTube channel of With Chude TV during an interactive session, he stated that he met the lady who eventually became his wife on a movie set, and when they started dating, he told her that he didn’t have enough money, and she agreed to marry him.

In his explanation, Effiong said, “I came back to Nigeria from South Africa to be on a project that my wife was my production manager. I and my wife had been talking before that project, but we met when she came to Nigeria from New York to do her first job. We started talking, and I had a long conversation with her where I told her that I really wanted to get married. When I was dating my wife, I told her I didn’t have enough money, but she agreed to marry me. I told her that I had lived my life by faith, and I was surprised that that statement didn’t scare her away, and from that moment I was convinced that she was the one for me.”
