The late Ade Coker was a former Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the NDC
Former Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joseph Ade Coker, has died.
The NDC stalwart is reported to have passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at the Bank Hospital after a short illness.
His demise was confirmed by the Head of the NDC Legal Department, Edudzi Tameklo, in a post on social media.
In 2009, he was elected as the NDC’s Greater Accra Regional Chairman, a position he held for three terms in a row.
In 2022, Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore, the current regional chairman, defeated him in his campaign for reelection.
Ade Coker, also an ardent supporter of the Great Olympics Football Club and a football administrator. served as Vice Chairman of the Ghana Football Association.
