Ajagurajah, Obinim, and O.Bempah Stir Drama at Rev. Obofour Mother’s Funeral, Leaving Kumasi in awe

A recent funeral in Kumasi has become the focal point of national attention, as prominent Ghanaian religious figures—Bishop Kwabena Asiamah (Ajagurajah), Bishop Daniel Obinim, and Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah—made notable appearances at the funeral of Rev. Obofour’s mother, Nana Afia Pokuah. The event, held in the Ashanti Region, was marked by dramatic displays and unexpected interactions among these influential pastors.

Bishop Asiamah, leader of the Ajagurajah Movement, captivated attendees by generously spraying cash on mourners, a gesture that elicited cheers and applause. Clad in his signature red and black attire, he and his entourage’s presence underscored the close relationship between him and Rev. Obofour.

Rev. Obofour, founder of the Anointed Palace Chapel, made a grand entrance accompanied by bodyguards, drawing significant attention. His arrival was met with enthusiasm, and he was seen exchanging pleasantries with fellow clergy members, including Bishop Obinim. The two, once known for their public disagreements, have recently shown signs of reconciliation.

The funeral also saw the attendance of other notable figures from the religious, political, and entertainment sectors, highlighting the significance of the event in Ghanaian society.
