SPOTLIGHT: Bibiani GoldStars SC set sight on Ghanaian midfielder David Ataridina

Ghana, when it comes to talent is the HALL OF FAME in Africa. At least five generals, starting from Rev. Osei Kofi, to Ibrahim Sunday, to Golden Boy Abdul Razak to Abede Ayew Pele to Stephen Appiah, all will attest to the fact that Ghana’s best produced position/ department has being the midfield. But in recent times, such is the opposite.

Considering the current line up of midfielders produced, has urged Ghanaian club Bibiani Gold Stars FC to open wide their net and enquire on availability of Ghanaian midfielder David Ataridina. The young workaholic midfielder ply’s his trade with Ghanaian lower-tier club Adade Football Club in the Bono Region- Second Division.

The Miner’s has identified David Ataridina as a best fit profile for the side, having noticed his qualities and capabilities.

He’s an attacking midfielder with better profile of a defensive midfielder, capable of pick pocket passes.

A sensational midfielder who combines power, pace, strength and tackles in his act. Defining his skill as a typical number 10 ended his side with 10 goals involvement for Adade Football Club in the 2024/25 Brong Ahafo Regional Division Two League. He’s being touted by the Premier league title contenders, Bibiani GoldStars FC for next season.

Missing just five matches in 22 matches, he contributed to 8 league goals. Bagging 5 goals and 3 assist to inspire Adade Football Club to top four finish. The Miner’s target following his performance has seen him, nominated for Player of the season award having clinched Player of the month accolade twice this season.

Having previously had trials in Portugal, the combative midfielder has received interest from Clube Atletico Macedo de Caveleiros and a Malaysian outfit. With few weeks to end the Ghanaian domestic league, David Ataridina is expected to hold talks with the Ghanaian club before deciding his future.
