The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced a scheduled power outage on Sunday, May 25, 2025, due to planned maintenance works by the Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCo).
According to the notice issued on Thursday, May 22, the maintenance will be carried out at the Kasoa Bulk Supply Point to enhance service delivery. The outage is expected to occur between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on the scheduled date.
The affected areas include Kpormotey, Kalabule, Adaakope, Amuzu Kope, Amanfrom, Denchira, Ashalaja, Adam Nana, Nurses Quarters, Kwame Anum, Kuwait, Lamgma, Fulani, Mama Africa, Broadcasting, and surrounding environs.
ECG expressed regret over the inconvenience the maintenance work may cause and assured the public that the exercise is necessary to improve reliability and efficiency in power distribution.
Customers in the affected communities are advised to plan accordingly and take necessary precautions during the period of the outage.
