Former Managing Director of Ghana Post, Bice Osei Kuffour, popularly known as Obour, has called on residents and assembly members of the Asante Akyem South Municipality to unite behind the newly appointed Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Maame Sarfoa Appiah, to accelerate development in the area.
Speaking to Adom News, Obour stressed the importance of unity and collaboration in achieving tangible progress. He noted that with teamwork, innovation, and proactive leadership, the municipality can overcome its developmental challenges.
“I believe Maame Sarfoa has what it takes, but she needs the full support of the people and local leadership to succeed,” he said.
Obour also encouraged members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to remain committed and united. He expressed confidence that the party can regain power in the 2028 general elections following its loss in 2024.
He urged party leaders to rebuild the party’s foundation and establish effective structures for a strong comeback.
