Kanye West has launched into another angry rant on X (formerly Twitter) after the alleged leak of his upcoming album Cuck. The rapper reacted after the album surfaced on Discord, a platform known for real-time communication and file sharing.
The leak comes amid growing backlash against Kanye for a controversial track on the project, which critics say promotes Nazi ideology. The song, titled Heil Hitler, has drawn outrage for glorifying the figure behind one of history’s most horrific genocides.
Shortly after the leak, Kanye posted a series of defiant messages on X. “Somebody got a drive and threw it on YouTube and said this is Cuck,” he wrote. “What I love about getting blocked on DSPs and having songs leaked and shows cancelled is… it proves everything I’m saying and why I’m saying it.”
Kanye also addressed confusion around specific tracks, clarifying, “UNCLE is not on Cuck and is not about my wife.”
The controversy intensified when hackers, after posting the Cuck tracklist on YouTube, condemned the project’s content, stating that all proceeds from the album’s leaked group buy would be donated to the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum. “Glorifying fascism is not ‘art’. ‘Love speech’ is just an excuse to say outrageous s— for attention,” they wrote in a scathing message that also included personal insults aimed at Kanye.
Following the backlash, Kanye’s scheduled concert in Incheon, South Korea, was cancelled. Local organizers, Coupang and Interpark, confirmed that the May 31 event was scrapped due to “recent controversies involving the artist.” Ticket holders are expected to receive full refunds.
Despite widespread criticism, Kanye remains unapologetic, using social media to frame the leaks and cancellations as proof of censorship and misunderstanding.
