JA Africa, Boeing launch STEM training for youth in Nigeria and Togo

Junior Achievement Africa (JA Africa), in partnership with global aerospace leader Boeing, has officially launched two flagship programmes in Nigeria and Togo aimed at empowering young people with skills in science, technology, and entrepreneurship.

The two programs aim to equip African youth with relevant, future-focused skills to drive economic growth, self-employment, and innovation across the continent.

In Nigeria, 500 secondary school girls have been enrolled in the newly launched Girls STEMpreneurship Programme, which will deliver hands-on training in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

The program includes innovation camps designed to build critical thinking, problem-solving, and business development skills. Top teams will receive seed funding to transform their ideas into viable ventures.

Meanwhile, in Togo, 600 senior secondary students have joined the Company Program, JA Africa’s premier entrepreneurship curriculum. Participants will learn how to establish and manage startups, with a strong focus on addressing environmental challenges through sustainable business solutions.
