Freeze Sammy Gyamfi’s bank account

Legal practitioner, lawyer Maurice Ampaw has called on the appropriate security agencies to swiftly freeze the bank accounts of Sammy Gyamfi and audit his financial statements.

The lawyer believes the acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board has no history to suggest he has worked before and therefore should be subjected to interrogation.

His call comes on the back of a viral video of Sammy Gyamfi where he is seen doling out dollar notes to self-acclaimed prophetess, Patricia Oduro Koranteng formerly called Agradaa.

“Legally, this is a behaviour that needs to be checked. We need to explain the unexplained wealth of Sammy Gyamfi”, he suggested.

Speaking on Wontumi TV, lawyer Ampaw added that Sammy Gyamfi isn’t an associate of any law chamber and “has never worked before”.

“FIU of the police service should call him and audit his lifestyle. How much is he being paid? His account ought to be frozen”, he said.
