Ghana’s Men’s 4×100 Relay Team has qualified to compete in this year’s World Athletics Championship in Tokyo, Japan in September after finishing second in its Heat at the ongoing World Athletics Relays in Guangzhou, China.

Ibrahim Fuseini ran the anchor leg for Ghana and delivered a blistering run to place Ghana in second place and seal qualification to the World Championship.
Fuseini run a time of 9.04 seconds but narrowly missed out on first place. France won the Heat with a time of 38.31 seconds.
Like Ghana’s race on Day One, Fuseini was the standout performer on Day Two of the Relays as his brilliant run clinched Ghana’s place at the World Championships.
