Head coach of Medeama SC, Ibrahim Tanko has given thumbs up to his charges after their heavy win at home to Vision FC.
The Mauve and Yellow pummeled the new boys by 3-1 at the Tarkwa TnA Park in week 30 on Saturday evening, a result that maintains Medeama’s perfect home run giving Coach Ibrahim Tanko some joy.
“I think it was a sweet victory in the end and I think in the first half because of one or two decisions, the players were very angry on the pitch so I had to cool them down the dressing room to play our normal game but I think in the end the 3-1 is a deserved win,” Tanko told Medi TV.
“We have to commend them because they are scoring even though they have the chance to score more goals. Definitely we are going to watch the game and train on the chances that we have to score.”
The two time Ghana FA Cup winners moved into 5th on the league table with 47 points – three behind Kotoko and Heart of Lions who share third spot.
