The Host of Good Evening Ghana, Paul Adom-Otchere, has alleged that the Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central, Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A Plus, has been removed from a WhatsApp platform meant for members of the Majority Caucus in Parliament.

Reacting to a question by a viewer during the Thursday, May 1, 2025, edition of his show, Adom-Otchere said his checks indicate the independent Member of Parliament has been removed from the social media group meant for Majority MPs.

“Yes, that’s correct. We checked, and A Plus has been removed. It’s very true,” he stated.

The reported removal comes on the back of a recent feud between the Attorney General, Dr Dominic Akuritinga Ayine, and the MP.

During a press conference on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, Dr Dominic Ayine responded to claims made by A Plus, who had accused him of corruption in an earlier social media post.

A Plus alleged on Facebook that Dr Ayine manipulated the drafting and passage of the Sanitation and Pollution Levy in 2021 for personal gain while in opposition.

He further claimed that Dr Ayine also restructured the leadership of a parliamentary committee to benefit a close associate.

However, Dr Ayine vehemently denied the accusations, describing them as baseless and challenging A Plus to provide evidence.
