President John Dramani Mahama has nominated seven distinguished Justices of the Court of Appeal for elevation to the Supreme Court of Ghana.
This comes pursuant to Article 144(2) of the 1992 Constitution of Ghana, which empowers the President to nominate individuals for the highest court in the land, subject to the advice of the Judicial Council and the approval of Parliament.
