The husband of the late Nigerian gospel musician Osinachi Nwachukwu has been sentenced to death by hanging after being found guilty of causing her death.
A Federal High Court in Abuja delivered the ruling on Tuesday, April 23, 2025, after months of trial. The prosecution, led by the Nigerian government, charged Peter Nwachukwu with culpable homicide under Section 221 of the Penal Code.
