The Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs has called on Ghanaians to use the Easter season as an opportunity to renew their commitment to unity, peace, and service to humanity.
In a press release signed by the sector Minister, Ahmed Ibrahim and issued on Friday, April 18, the Ministry extended warm Easter greetings to the Christian community and all Ghanaians, emphasising the significance of the season in promoting national development through shared values such as sacrifice, compassion, and hope.
The Ministry also acknowledged the vital role of faith-based institutions in fostering peace and social harmony and encouraged citizens to reflect deeply on the spiritual essence of Easter.
As Christians commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Ministry urged celebrants to mark the occasion in moderation and safety, with mutual respect and regard for community well-being.
