Sammy Gyamfi reacts to the demise of Sam Pee Yalley

Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi, the National Communications Director of the National Democratic Congress, has reacted to the demise of Sam Pee Yalley.

Sam Pee Yalley, former Ghanaian High Commissioner to India and President of the NDC Professionals Forum, has passed away.

It is not immediately known what led to his sudden demise.

His death was announced by Deputy National Communications Officer of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Malik Basintale in a Facebook post on Sunday, April 6.

The NDC scribe paid tribute to Amb. Yalley, who was a respected diplomat and public figure, describing him as “a good man” and expressing hope of reuniting with him someday.

“You were a good man! We shall meet again someday H.E, as I always called you,” Malik Basintale, who is currently the Ag. The Managing Director of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) wrote, expressing sadness with a crying emoji.

The sad news has since triggered sorrowful reactions from supporters of the NDC, with many of them taking to social media platforms to commiserate with the family of the fallen NDC bigwig.

Taking to his Facebook page, Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi has described the death of Sam Pee Yalley as Heart-wrenching, extending his condolences to the bereaved family and the NDC fraternity.

He wrote, “A great Man has fallen; a man who gave his all for the cause of the NDC. 

Heart-wrenching it is. 

Rest thee well in the bosom of your maker, Ambassador Sam Pee Yalley. 

You shall forever remain in our hearts.”

Sam Pee Yalley was a seasoned lawyer and government official who served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the National Pensions Regulatory Authority.

He was appointed Ghana’s Ambassador to India by President John Mahama in 2014. Sam Pee Yalley was known for his advocacy, particularly in promoting female leadership in Ghana.
