Former flagbearer aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kennedy Agyapong
Former flagbearer aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kennedy Agyapong, has assured party members that all efforts will be made to return the party to power.
According to Agyapong, the NPP has capable men to do the job, and come 2028, the party will be fully mobilized to deliver a “showdown” in the general elections.
Speaking to members of TESCON at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Agyapong emphasized the need for unity and forgiveness within the party.
“In politics, we offend each other. Let us put it behind us. The only people who become better in society are those who forgive their brothers and friends who offend them,” he said.
He stressed that without unity, the party cannot achieve its goals, but with a collective front, the NPP can overcome the challenges ahead.
“We need to come together and become one formidable force that is ready to fight. It is not going to be easy in 2028. It will be tough, but with unity, I assure you, we have the men. We will gather them, and there will be a showdown,” Agyapong declared.
He encouraged party members not to lose hope.
“Do not despair. Have hope. Have confidence that whatever any political party has done to win power, the NPP can do it too.”
Forgiveness makes us stronger, unity makes us unstoppable! The road to 2028 will not be easy, but together, we will rise again. Let’s put the past behind us, stand as one, and fight for the future of NPP!#NPP #UnityForVictory #Forgiveness #StrongerTogether pic.twitter.com/lQfHm2rNMy
