Meet Theophilus Annor, the Ghanaian making waves in dentistry innovation

Theophilus Annor, a Ghanaian digital dental technician and graduate student at the Tyler School of Art and Architecture, is making significant strides in dentistry in the United States.

His hard work recently earned him a spot on Temple University’s “30 Under 30” award list.

The award is presented to former students of the university who have made remarkable contributions in their careers and communities before the age of 30.

In a recent post shared on LinkedIn, Annor expressed his gratitude for the recognition, saying, “I’m incredibly honored to be recognized as a Temple 30 Under 30 awardee for 2025! This achievement is a testament to the support of my mentors, peers, and community who have shaped my journey. Grateful for the opportunity to be part of such an inspiring group of leaders making an impact. Excited for what’s ahead!”

Temple University, in a post on their website, praised Annor’s blend of science and dentistry.

“Theophilus looks forward to a career in dentistry in the United States but also continuing his artistry, through which he combines traditional metallurgy and 3D printing to make fine jewelry,” it noted.
