Ali Nuhu Mourns the Death of Dr Idris Abdul’azeez Dutsen Tanshi

Renowned Kannywood actor and Managing Director of the Nigerian Film Corporation, Ali Nuhu, has joined many Nigerians in mourning the death of Sheikh Dr. Idris Abdul’azeez Dutsen Tanshi.

The respected Islamic scholar passed away after a prolonged illness, leaving behind a legacy of knowledge and dedication to the religion.

Ali Nuhu took to his official Facebook page to express his grief, sharing a brief message:

“Innalillahi wa inna ilaihir raji’un, Allah ya jikan Mal Idris Dutsen Tanshi, ameen,” which means, “Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we shall return. May Allah have mercy on Mallam Idris Dutsen Tanshi. Ameen.”

His post quickly gathered reactions from fans and followers, with many also offering prayers for the deceased.

Sheikh Idris Abdul’azeez was a prominent figure in the Islamic community, known for his vast knowledge and commitment to spreading the teachings of Islam.

His funeral is scheduled for Friday, March 4, 2025, at 10:00 AM, in accordance with Islamic traditions.
