NPP Approached Me With Money To Shut Up But No One Can Buy My Conscience

Blind Historian Bulgaria, known in real life as Akwasi Afari Duodu Malik, a renowned Ghanaian football analyst, has disclosed that top-ranking members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) attempted to bribe him to keep quiet about Reverend Owusu Bempah and his alleged dealings.

According to him, NPP officials approached him, urging him to retract his statements about Owusu Bempah, particularly when he labeled him a “walking criminal.” However, he firmly refused to apologize, maintaining that Bempah is not immune to criticism.

He further claimed that apart from being asked to stay silent, he was also offered money to participate in a covert scheme against former President John Dramani Mahama. However, he turned down the offer, insisting that he would not allow financial incentives to compromise his integrity.

“I respect Bawumia, but my conscience is not for sale. I refuse to apologize to Owusu Bempah. He is not God, and he does not have the authority to decide who becomes president. Where was he when Kwame Nkrumah and others assumed leadership? The presidency is not his to control,” he asserted.

Expressing his frustration, he criticized Okay FM’s Kwame Nkrumah Tikese for permitting Owusu Bempah’s supporters to insult him and mock his disability on air.

He also reiterated his willingness to defend himself in court if necessary.

“He claims he’s taking me to court? I welcome the challenge. Where was he when his so-called pastor and his men stormed Gradaa’s house? Owusu Bempah is no different from an armed robber. I will not be intimidated by a lawsuit. Owusu, I know the difference between right and wrong. If I had no proof, I wouldn’t have spoken,” he said passionately.
