Richard Ahiagbah, Director of Communications for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has expressed concern over the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) governance, accusing the party of failing to fulfill its promises to Ghanaians.
Speaking on the Channel One Newsroom on Wednesday, Ahiagbah criticised the NDC’s approach to economic management, describing their promises as unrealistic and unfulfilled.
“Just worried for Ghana. This whole thing is not going well. This whole thing with the NDC promising nirvana and delivering nothing so far,” Ahiagbah stated.
He pointed to the recently presented budget as evidence, claiming it lacks the vision and measures needed to transform the country’s economic trajectory.
Ahiagbah also highlighted the NDC’s admission that the economy is expected to contract, arguing that this reflects poorly on their ability to foster growth.
“The economy is not going to grow more than what was recorded last year,” he remarked.
