For days now, the investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas and the former NPP MP Kennedy Agyapong have been trending due to a $18 million defamation suit reportedly won by Anas Aremeyaw Anas. Apparently, Kennedy Agyapong’s employee Kweku Annan has broken his silence as he declares war on Anas.
Speaking on his show “The Frontline Ghana”, Kweku Annan claims he will fight and expose Anas Aremeyaw Anas until they both die. According to the journalist Kwaku Annan, he is a clear victim of Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ entrapment.
Kwaku Annan claim in the year 2015, a group of chiefs came to him with a a request that he help them get back their lands from Anas Aremeyaw Anas as he was trying to use wrongful means to take away their lands for them.
He contacted Anas Aremeyaw Anas over the complains but he denied being involved in the scandal. To ensure that what the chiefs were accusing Anas of was true, Kwaku Annan claim he went to the site only to realize that all the accusations were true and were far from what he imagine.
According to Kwaku Annan, his attempt to talk to Anas Aremeyaw Anas to put a stop to what he was doing turned out unproductive, thus, he decided to publish a documentary to expose him. Unfortunately, Anas Aremeyaw Anas got to know about the document and set him up.
Kwaku Annan claims a man approached him wanting to sponsor his document. On three occasions, the man gave him money for the sponsorship. Little did he know that the man in question was sent by Anas.
A feew days before the release of his document against Anas, a video of him came out with the narrative that he was corrupt and was receiving bribes.
According to Kweku Annan, Anas has proven beyond doubt that he is not the person he claims to be and he will keep exposing him. Kwaku Annan further dared Anas to take him to court just like he did to Kennedy Agyapong and he will defend himself.
