In recognition of his services to the club and the great future that lie ahead of him, the management and players of Kenpong Football Academy has held a special farewell for prodigious talent Bossman Afirim Debra who is set to make his first and major international move.

The talented youngster is on the verge of sealing an incredible deal to Norwegian side Stabaek and Kenpong Football Academy sent him off with a touching and inspirational farewell program that will leave lasting memories on not just him by the entire playing body.

Before his departure from the academy’s base in Winneba in Central Region, Bossman Debra was presented with a jersey signed by all his teammates.

He was also given a guard of honor by teammates who gave him a resound applause, affirming their happiness for him and their prayers of him becoming a success story at Stabaek.

Debra also addressed his teammates for the last time with the coaches at Kenpong Football Academy offering some important counseling and prayers for him as he prepares to navigate another important chapter in his promising career.

Legendary Ghanaian coach, JE Sarpong urged him to work hard and remain humble and focused on his career as those are the keys to success in his career.

An emotional Bossman Debra expressed gratitude to the management of the academy including the owner, Kennedy Agyapong alias Kenpong, the coaches and players for their support and dedication to him.

The move to Stabaek by Bossman Debra comes on the back of extensive works and engagements with European clubs by the owner of the academy and Ghanaian business magnate, Kenpong.

Kenpong has for the past few years invested hugely in the academy and embarked on a mission to establish partnership with several European clubs.

This ambition of his, which is set to open huge doors for players of Kenpong Football Academy, has seen him establish partnerships with clubs in Norway, France, Spain (FC Barcelona), Switzerland among others.

Reports indicate that through the groundwork by Kenpong and the outstanding works by the coaching team at Kenpong Football Academy, a good number of the players will in the coming months join some major clubs in Europe either on permanent basis or initial trials.
