IAWPA Ghana launches Ghana Peace Summit 2025

The International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA) is pleased to announce the launch of the Ghana Peace Summit 2025, scheduled to take place on March 5th, 2025, at the University of Ghana Business School Conference Hall, Accra.

The summit aims to bring together stakeholders, experts, and leaders to discuss and address the challenges of electoral violence and its aftermath in Ghana.

The theme, “Impact of Violence after General Elections and Change of Government,” is a critical topic that requires collective attention and action.

H.E. Amb. Bishop Samuel Ben Owusu, Convener of the summit, emphasized the importance of promoting peace and stability in Ghana, particularly during periods of electoral transition.

“The Ghana Peace Summit 2025 is a call to action for all stakeholders to work together towards preventing electoral violence and promoting national cohesion,” he stated.

The summit promises to be a platform for constructive dialogue, knowledge sharing, and strategic planning among stakeholders. Participants will include representatives from government, civil society organizations, political parties, security agencies, and the media.
