Her husband, Kofi Owusu Aduonum, is a respected sports journalist with the Daily Guide. The couple’s journey began in 2013 when they first met in Kofi’s office. Their friendship blossomed over three years, culminating in marriage in 2016. Together, they have three children.
Throughout their marriage, Kofi has been a steadfast supporter of Afua’s endeavors. Notably, during her attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the longest individual singing marathon in December 2023, Kofi was a constant presence, offering encouragement and holding placards that read, “More Strength Afua!!!”
