In a shocking incident, Joseph Richard allegedly set fire to the room of his girlfriend, Betty Herman, in Axim, Western Region, at approximately 3 a.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2025.
At the time of the attack, Betty’s children, 16-year-old Joseph Ben and 3-year-old Richlove Asiedua Yeboah, were asleep and sustained severe burns.
The act is believed to have been triggered by Betty’s decision to end the relationship.
