Valentine’s Day is just under a week away and you may be thinking about what to get your partner on the most romantic day of the year. It is tempting to pick up some flowers and a card from the supermarket and call it a day, but the special someone in your life will always appreciate you going above and beyond.
If you’re stuck with what to buy that they’ll actually use and love, we’ve got your back. I’ve put together a lift of some of the gifts that I would actually love to receive on February 14 – which you can read below.
There’s something to suit everyone and all budgets, whether its a box of chocolates available on Amazon, a budget-friendly face cream or slightly more expensive jewellery and beauty tools. I’ve also thrown in some tech, too.
As a chocolate lover, I am obsessed with the Lindt Lindor Milk Chocolate Truffles. A large 600g box that contains approximately 48 truffles typically costs £19.50 but they’re currently available on Amazon for £10.99.
I’m loyal to my fragrances, more often than not sporting Paco Rabanne’s Olympea, La Vie Est Belle by Lancôme and Glossier’s You but I fell in love with Chanel’s Chance Eau Fraiche Eau de Parfum from the moment I sniffed it. It normally retails for £104 when it’s not on sale (although it’s currently £88.40 at Boots), which is a bit more than I typically like to pay, which is why it makes the perfect Valentine’s Day gift.
Launched in 2007, Chance Eau Fraiche is the perfect luxury fragrance for women of all ages. It features a sparkling floral yet woody fragrance that lasts all day. The top notes are lemon, cedar and citron while the middle notes feature water hyacinth, pink pepper and jasmine.
The base notes include white musk, patchouli, vetiver, teak wood, iris and amber. To pick up a 50ml bottle while it’s on sale, visit here.
The The Ritual of Sakura is the perfect gift to recreate a spa experience from the comfort of your own home. It costs £54.90 and features four products, three of which are full-sized. housed in a pretty pink gift box.

The cold weather is starting to lift as we inch towards spring but we’re not quite out of the woods just yet. I prefer to rug up nice and warm instead of turning the costly central heating on and the Hello Kitty Original Licensed wearable blanket is cute and cosy but also super practical.
It costs £79, which is slightly more expensive than the brand’s regular hooded blankets, such as the £29 Musk Pink version, but is just too adorable to pass up. Just check whether your partner is a Hello Kitty, Kuromi or Cinnamoroll girly.
As a beauty writer and skincare enthusiast, I can’t sing the praises of the Revolution Pro Miracle Cream highly enough. It normally costs £10 but shoppers can pick up a 50ml tub for just £8 at Debenhams. A larger 100l version is also available, on sale for £14.40 instead of £18.
It’s considered to be a budget-friendly alternative of Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Cream and I whole heartedly agree. It not only moisturises skin but creates a glow that lasts all day. It can be used under foundation to boost the skin’s luminosity or worn on its own.
If you’re looking for an alternative gift for your partner, a pair of Dr. Martens like these 1460 Serena Collar Faux Fur Lined Ankle Boots would go down a treat. They normally cost £160 but shoppers can pick them with a 40% discount, bringing the down to £96.
Don’t miss

More than a match for the cold, the boots sit on a rugged commando BEN sole with all of the brand’s core markings in place. Get them for less than £100, here.

The lighted dusted truffes feature a white chocolate pistachio centre and are perfect to gift. Get them here for less than £20.
Jewellery is always welcomed on Valentine’s Day (or any day in general, to be honest) and Pandora’s Engravable Heart Tag Pendant is so cute. It costs £35 as well as an additional £10 if you want to get it engraved with a message of your choice.
The pendant doesn’t come with a chain, though, so if you wanted to gift it as a necklace it’s worth picking one up. The Classic Cable Chain Necklace is available for £35 but my favourite is the £50 Cable Chain Necklace as it has a little bit more heft to it. Pick up the heart pendant here.
The Bellagio Swiss Made Quartz Diamond Watch is the ultimate showstopper. It normally retails for £3,195 at Debenhams but has been slashed by a whopping 93%.
That brings the price down to £196, which is still a considered purchase but a far cry from the original RRP. Inspired by Italy’s Lake Como, the watch features a diamond-cut ring bezel with an impressive eight diamonds in the dial.
It’s finished with a silver strap and a push-pull crown adorned with a blue cabochon stone. Pick it up for less than £200, here.
The Emilia Large Pebbled Leather Tote Bag from Michael Kors is another knockout gift. It originally cost £395 but has been reduced by a massive 68%.
That brings the bag to £124, offering a saving of £271. Labelled as in ‘hot demand’ online, the Emilia Tote showcases a belted silhouette that will add a sleek sophistication to your wardrobe.
Sized to hold all your essentials, plus a tablet or notebook, it’s made from pebbled leather and finished with slim top handles. It’s great for work, play and everything in between. Pick it up for £124 here.

Some say that any gift that come with a plug isn’t a gift, but I disagree. Now would be the perfect time to pick up the Shark FlexStyle 4-in-1 Air Styler & Hair Dryer if your partner is after one.
It normally costs £269.99 but shoppers can pick it up with a 10% saving, for a limited time. That brings it down to £242.99, offering a saving of £27.
The Shark FlexStyle boasts multiple functions. Not only does it dry hair, but it has four different styling options to create salon-worthy locks without any damage from the comfort of your own home. Jellycat’s are all the rage right now and the Hugg McSnugg Soft Toy is utterly adorable. It costs £22 from Selfridges and I’m obsessed.
The toy is part of the Loveables collection and it features soft faux-fur, hard eyes and embroidered facial features. It’s suitable for both adults and children alike. To pick it up for £22, visit here.

If the Shark FlexStyle 4-in-1 Air Styler & Hair Dryer is out of budget, the Lily England Hot Brush is a great alternative. It normally costs £44.99 but shoppers can pick it up with a 31% discount, now just £30.99.
It promises to cut your drying time in half. The deluxe blowdry brush hair dryer is the ideal hair styler for busy women who want beautiful hair without visiting the salon.
The lightweight heated brush for hair styling is made with tangle-free bristles, a 360 swivel cord and three heat settings (cool, low and high), allowing you to dry and style with ease. Get it for £30.99 here.

Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk lipsticks are the crème de la crème. The new cool-toned version has just been released and looks absolutely gorgeous. Or you can pick up the original version or Pillow Talk Medium and Pillow Talk Intense.
Formulated with antioxidants, orchid tree extracts and Vitamin E, the lippy helps to soften and condition lips with every swipe. What’s more, a study conducted by the high-end makeup brand found that 100% of women agree that the lipstick lasts up to 10 hours on the lips.

I am yet to meet a woman who doesn’t love Sol de Janeiro and the Delicia Drench Jet Set is the perfect gift for those who are yet to try the brand or already massive fans of the Brazil-inspired fragrance and bodycare products.
The gift set contains a travel size shower oil, a 30ml perfume mist and a 50ml tub of Sol de Janeiro’s famous body butters, all in the beautiful Delícia Drench scent. As a skincare fanatic, No7’s Protect & Perfect Collection 5 Piece Gift Set would be an ace gift to receive. It costs £50.11 but is worth £120.75, which basically means you’re getting £70-worth of essentials for free.

When I’m running errands, commuting or going for a walk on my own, I pretty much always have headphones on. The ones I currently own do the job but they’re not the prettiest. But these Sony WH-CH520 Wireless Bluetooth Headphones are so chic that you’ll actually want to be seen wearing them.
They normally retail for £45 but Amazon is offering them with a 16% discount, bringing them to £38. The headphones boast a 50 hour battery life and Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE) that restores your music with high frequency and gradual fade out sound for a more authentic performance.

Last but not least is the Black Floral Embroidered Andie Midi Dress. There’s nothing more romantic than your partner buying you a dress to wear to dinner and I fell in love with the Black Floral Embroidered Andie Midi Dress from the moment I saw it.
The black number is blooming in florals, which is perfect for Valentine’s Day without being too on the nose. Available in sizes four to 18, the dress features a V-neckline and a swishy skirt that skims the body. Get it here for £110.
