Acting CEO of GIHOC Distilleries Company Limited, Jones Borteye Applerh
President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Jones Borteye Applerh as the Acting Chief Executive Officer of GIHOC Distilleries Company Limited.
In a letter signed by the Secretary to the President, Dr. Callistus Mahama, it was stated that the appointment is in accordance with Article 195(1) of the Constitution.
Mr. Applerh’s appointment took effect on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
“I write to formally inform you that H.E. John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana, has, in accordance with Article 195(1) of the Constitution, appointed you as the Acting Chief Executive Officer of GIHOC Distilleries Company Limited, pending receipt of the constitutionally required advice of the governing Board, given in consultation with the Public Services Commission,” part of the letter read.
Before assuming his new role, Mr. Applerh served as the Executive Secretary of the Small Arms Commission.
