A staff member of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) working under Zoomlion, Salifu Ibrahim, has displayed an exceptional act of honesty by returning GH₵20,000 he found to its rightful owner in Tamale, Northern Region.
Guided by his principles and religious beliefs, Salifu took it upon himself to locate the owner and return the cash, according to a report by asaaseradio.com.
Salifu explained that his decision was influenced by his religious conviction that taking what does not belong to him is wrong, the report noted.
The grateful owner expressed heartfelt appreciation, saying, “I am overwhelmed with joy and gratitude for this selfless act.”
Salifu’s commendable action has resonated with many, earning widespread praise and calls for him to be rewarded for his honesty, the report added.
