Upcoming Ghanaian artist Marwake has come under intense criticism from the people after he was spotted recording a music video at the fire tragedy in Kantamanto market. As seen in a video making rounds on the internet, the musician and his crew used the burnt area as the scene for their video and he could be seen making moves to the tunes playing on the speaker.
The video has elicited mixed reactions from netizens with many slamming him. They said he was an opportunist who uses the downfall of other people to elevate himself. They said that by using the site to make a video for his music was a sign that he celebrating the sadness of other people.
There are however people who have divergent views on the issue. They have said that he just saw and opportunity and singing at the site does not mean he is happy for their loss. Others said that the already love the song he plans to release and can’t wait to hear it when it is released officially.
