<\/p>\n
La Liga have issued a statement on Barcelona\u2019s bid to register Dani Olmo and Pau Victor and it does not make good reading for the Catalan giants.<\/p>\n
We\u2019re just hours away from the deadline to register the two players closing and it\u2019s still not done despite the club\u2019s latest efforts.<\/p>\n
Barcelona have reportedly sent documentation to La Liga regarding the sale of VIP boxes which they believe will deliver enough income to solve the registration issue.<\/p>\n
However, La Liga say they still haven\u2019t seen anything that means Barcelona can register the two players.<\/p>\n
Here\u2019s the statement<\/p>\n
\n\u201cLa Liga informs that, as of today, December 31, FC Barcelona has not presented any alternative that, in compliance with LALIGA\u2019s economic control regulations, would allow it to register any player starting next January 2.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
It\u2019s not clear now what will happen next. Olmo\u2019s agent has said he wants to stay at Barcelona but if he\u2019s not registered he won\u2019t be able to feature for the club again this season.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
