Ace highlife musician Amakye Dede and his team have been involved in an accident, his management has confirmed. <\/p>\n According to a statement released on December 31, 2024, the accident occurred during Amakye Dede\u2019s journey from Takoradi to Agona Swedru, en route to a scheduled show. <\/p>\n The incident took place in the early hours of Sunday, December 29, between Apam and Winneba, around 1:50 am, while traveling in a V8 Land Cruiser. <\/p>\n The statement revealed that Amakye Dede and his team were promptly rushed to Winneba Hospital, where they received treatment from 2 am to 6 am. <\/p>\n Despite the physical toll of the accident, the statement added that Amakye Dede showed resilience by traveling to Kumasi later that morning for a scheduled performance. <\/p>\n However, due to the strain from the incident, he was unable to perform as planned and, in his absence, Amakye Dede’s band stepped in to perform on his behalf. <\/p>\n The management team also apologised for any inconvenience caused by the incident and urged fans to keep Amakye Dede and his team in their prayers. <\/p>\n Read the full statement below:<\/b> <\/p>\n \u201cIt is with great concern that we inform our cherished fans, partners, and the general public about an unfortunate accident involving the legendary Amakye Dede and his team in the early hours of Sunday, December 29, 2024.
