Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr. Ernest Addison, along with his two deputies, Dr. Maxwell Opoku-Afari, First Deputy Governor, and Elsie Addo Awadzi, Second Deputy Governor, were among the notable figures honoured at the National Honours and Awards ceremony.<\/p>\n

Dr. Maxwell Opoku-Afari was celebrated for his instrumental role in strengthening Ghana\u2019s banking sector and improving regulatory frameworks. Under his leadership, the Bank of Ghana has made significant strides in controlling inflation and promoting financial inclusion. <\/p>\n

His contributions to international discussions on monetary policy, financial stability, and economic development were also recognised.<\/p>\n
