{"id":272919,"date":"2024-12-30T15:31:26","date_gmt":"2024-12-30T15:31:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2024\/12\/30\/eco-aid-foundation-supports-widows-and-differently-abled-persons-in-kumasi\/"},"modified":"2024-12-30T15:31:26","modified_gmt":"2024-12-30T15:31:26","slug":"eco-aid-foundation-supports-widows-and-differently-abled-persons-in-kumasi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2024\/12\/30\/eco-aid-foundation-supports-widows-and-differently-abled-persons-in-kumasi\/","title":{"rendered":"Eco Aid Foundation supports widows and differently-abled persons in Kumasi"},"content":{"rendered":"<br><div id=\"article-text\">\n                       \n                        \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Eco Aid Foundation, led by construction expert and entrepreneur Emmanuel Aboagye, popularly known as Aboagye the Contractor, and Dr Mrs Lois Aboagye, has shown immense kindness and generosity by bringing joy to over 5,000 widows and differently abled individuals in the Ashanti Region as part of their Christmas celebrations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.myjoyonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/WhatsApp-Image-2024-12-30-at-14.46.39_12845244-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10032665391\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Known for his philanthropic efforts, Mr Aboagye, alongside his wife, Mrs Aboagye, distributed cash and food items, including rice, fish, oil, and other essential goods, to these vulnerable individuals, bringing smiles to their faces and warmth to their hearts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.myjoyonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/WhatsApp-Image-2024-12-30-at-14.46.41_f28f0439-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10032665393\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event, which took place on 28th December 2024 at the KNUST Parade Grounds, was a testament to Mr Aboagye&#8217;s commitment to giving back to society. The entrepreneur, who has made a name for himself in the construction industry, has always been passionate about supporting those in need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;I believe that everyone deserves to experience the joy and love of Christmas, regardless of their circumstances,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He added, &#8220;I feel it is my responsibility to use my resources to make a positive impact in the lives of others.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.myjoyonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/WhatsApp-Image-2024-12-30-at-14.46.40_853f5358-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10032665394\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The recipients of Mr Aboagye\u2019s kindness were overwhelmed with gratitude, thanking him and his foundation for their generosity and thoughtfulness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many of them expressed that this was the first time they had received such support and that it would make their Christmas celebrations more meaningful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;This is a blessing from God,&#8221; said a widow who received support from Mr Aboagye.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;I was struggling to make ends meet, but this support will help me take care of my children and celebrate Christmas,&#8221; she added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.myjoyonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/WhatsApp-Image-2024-12-30-at-14.46.41_881e9b7d-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10032665404\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As the Christmas season draws to a close, the generosity of the Eco Aid Foundation, led by Mr Aboagye and his family, serves as a shining example of the true spirit of the holiday.
