On Friday, December 27, 2024, the University of Ghana Sports Stadium buzzed with energy as Ghana\u2019s future athletic stars gathered to master the flag football game.<\/p>\n

The one-day clinic, hosted by Titans of Africa in partnership with Kiles World Foundation, welcomed over 100 young talents aged 6-18 for an immersive and action-packed training experience.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Now in its fourth year, the clinic is dedicated to identifying and nurturing Ghanaian talent in flag football, a sport set to make its Olympic debut at the 2028 Los Angeles Games.<\/p>\n

The sessions were led by John Lewis, a fitness and agility trainer based in Atlanta, who focused on enhancing participants\u2019 fitness, speed, and agility.<\/p>\n

Lewis emphasized that the clinic aims to discover young athletes with the skills, coachability, and athleticism to represent Ghana on the Olympic stage.<\/p>\n

The initiative carries significant importance with Ghana poised to be among the first nations to field athletes in flag football at the Olympics.<\/p>\n

Mohammed Osman Nkosi, President and Co-Founder of Titans of Africa, disclosed that the organization provided training kits and footwear to the young participants, ensuring they were well-equipped for the program.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cThis clinic is part of a broader effort to tap into Ghana\u2019s immense talent pool. We plan to expand this initiative by organizing similar clinics in all 16 regions of the country,\u201d Nkosi stated.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
